About 300-thousand Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be off the road for awhile. The company says some 2009-2012 Touring and Trike models have a problem with the rear brake light switch, which could be exposed to excessive heat from the exhaust system.

The familiar roar of Harley-Davidson motorcycles may get louder in the magic city after the company made an announcement Thursday.
